We appreciate the California Alzheimer's Disease Center (CADC) and Mr. Joseph Herrera, for their assistance in locating these families and helping us, help them. (See the letter below!)

From The CADC...

Dear Bill,

Happy New Year 2024 and I hope you are doing well.

I would like to express our deepest gratitude for your generous donation of a Christmas dinner and presents for the Gonzalez- Gonzalez family.  I am positive that your kindness and generosity made a huge difference in their lives, especially during this challenging time. Both Margarita and Maricela are brave and loving mothers and are struggling to cope with the challenges of living with Early Onset Alzheimer’s disease.  They have been a part of our dementia clinic and have touched many hearts with their spirits and smiles. Mariano, Ramona, and the children are a wonderful and supportive family, who have been facing financial difficulties due to the pandemic and the medical expenses of caring for both patients. They have been working hard to make ends meet and provide a comfortable and happy life for Margarita and Maricela. I am sure that thanks to your donation, they were able to enjoy a delicious and nutritious dinner on Christmas Eve and open some amazing gifts on Christmas Day. I also believe that they were overjoyed and overwhelmed by your generosity and thoughtfulness, and kindheartedness. I am sure their sincere appreciation and gratitude was expressed to you. Your donation has not only provided them with material comfort and joy, but also with emotional support and hope. You have shown them that they are not alone in this journey, and that there are people who care and want to help them. You have made their Christmas a memorable and meaningful one. I am grateful for your support and compassion. You are a true angel and a blessing to the community. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.  Finally, I am sure Kimmy is delighted and smiling in heaven and proud of you and your family.  I hope 2024 is kind and full of success for you and your family.

Thank you!,
